The 2019 Annual HBPA Convention is fast approaching!

We have updated our agenda and invite you to continue to access the NHBPA webpage for more updates and helpful information leading up to the convention starting on Tuesday, March 12th with the cocktail reception and ending Saturday, March 16th with the Full Board Meeting. For your convenience, the current agenda is attached.

You will also find our registration pages and links to the online hotel reservation system.

Please make your hotel reservations before Friday, February 15, 2019, using the room block under National HBPA.

Jennie Rees is a communications and advocacy specialist in the horse industry who spent 32 years covering horse racing for The (Louisville) Courier-Journal before taking a corporate buyout. In addition to handling communications for the Kentucky HBPA, Rees is Kentucky Downs’ publicity director, manages in-season racing publicity for Ellis Park and serves as a consultant to the National HBPA. Other projects include the Preakness Stakes, Indiana Grand’s Indiana Derby Week and work for various HBPA affiliates and horsemen’s associations.
