The extended weekend, which runs Friday through Monday, was adjusted to make up for last Sunday’s card that was canceled due to extreme heat in Henderson.

Friday’s 10-race program is highlighted by the lucrative Late Pick 5 carryover, which spans Races 6-10. The card also includes a competitive maiden special weight contest for 2-year-olds sprinting 5 ½ furlongs on turf in Race 5, two allowance contests in Races 7 and 9 and two maiden special weights in Races 8 and 10.

The Arlington Stakes (Grade III) winner will square off against a deep group of turf specialists, including graded stakes winners Taking CandyEncinoKomorebino Omoide and Steal Sunshine. The Mint Millions Turf Mile Preview, run as Race 10, caps the $3 All Turf Pick 3 sequence that also includes the $250,000 Ky Downs Preview Nashville Derby (Race 8) and the $250,000 Ky Downs Preview Ladies Turf Sprint (Race 9).

Sunday’s 10-race card is headlined by the $400,000 Pucker Up presented by AgRevolution (GIII) for 3-year-old fillies, where Destino d’Oro will face nine rivals in her return to stakes company. The Brad Cox trainee enters off a sharp last-to-first allowance victory at Churchill Downs and will be joined in the gate by stakes-placed fillies Admit and Hereforagoodtime.

Sunday’s stakes lineup also includes the $300,000 Ky Downs Preview Turf Cup (Race 7), the $250,000 Ky Downs Preview Ladies Turf Mile (Race 8) and the $250,000 Ky Downs Preview Turf Sprint (Race 10), where Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint (GI) winner Nobals is set to face speedy local star Joe Shiesty.

The weekend concludes Monday with a nine-race program that includes three allowance contests in Races 4, 7 and 8, as well as maiden special weight events in Races 6 and 9.
