FLORENCE, Ky. (Friday, Feb. 6, 2026) – Judy Holland and Mulholland Springs’ Ms. Tart made a bold move around the far turn, then kicked clear for an impressive 2 ¾-length victory in Friday’s 33rd running of the $125,000 Wishing Well Stakes at Turfway Park Racing & Gaming.

The Wishing Well Stakes was Ms. Tart’s eighth career victory from 23 starts. Trained by John Ennis and ridden by Edgar Morales, Ms. Tart completed 6 ½ furlongs in 1:18.04.

Mulholland Springs purchased the now 5-year-old mare for $375,000 at Keeneland’s November sale and is getting immediate returns. In her first start for her new barn, Ms. Tart was third in Turfway Park’s Inaugural Stakes at odds of almost 20-1 before winning the Wishing Well. It was her third stakes victory, following Presque Isle’s Satin and Lace on the Tapeta surface and a bomber at 70-1 odds in Woodbine’s Grade 3 Royal North on turf last May for former trainer Kevin Rice.

It was a scramble for the early lead in the Wishing Well Stakes with 7-5 favorite Kehoe Beach being sent to the front while being pressured to her outside by Fancy Caber Neigh. The duo completed a quarter-mile in :22.52 while Ms. Tart was biding her time in fourth. Around the far turn, Ms. Tart began to engage the pacesetters while going three-wide and quickly took command on the field, opening up 2 ½ lengths by the top of the stretch.
