TURFWAY PARK CANCELS THURSDAY CARD DUE TO LINGERING SNOW STORM EFFECTS, WIND CHILLS IN SINGLE DIGITS

]FLORENCE, Ky. (Monday, Jan. 6, 2025) – Turfway Park Racing & Gaming has canceled its Thursday race card due to lingering effects of Sunday’s winter storm and forecasted single-digit wind chills. Turfway earlier announced that Wednesday’s Jan. 8 card will be moved in tact to Sunday with a 1 p.m. post.

The $180,036 Late Pick 5 carryover will now shift to Friday’s card that has a scheduled first post of 5:55 p.m. ET.

Officials will continue to monitor the weather forecast throughout the week and provide updates if necessary for any changes regarding Friday through Sunday’s cards.
