KyHBPA College Day July 25: Drawings for $1K, iPad mini after each race

COLLEGE IS IN SESSION SUNDAY AT ELLIS PARK!

Drawings for $1,000, iPad mini after every race to a full-time college student.

Two-, four-year, graduate, vocational, technical, barber school etc. accepted. Incoming freshmen eligible.

Must be present to win. Current college I.D. or letter of acceptance required to register. Must show driver’s license upon request.

The final giveaway is separate drawing for participants or children of participants in the horse-racing industry, including working for Ellis Park or horsemen.

Free to enter. Only one entry per student.

Jennie Rees is a communications and advocacy specialist in the horse industry who spent 32 years covering horse racing for The (Louisville) Courier-Journal before taking a corporate buyout. In addition to handling communications for the Kentucky HBPA, Rees is Kentucky Downs’ publicity director, manages in-season racing publicity for Ellis Park and serves as a consultant to the National HBPA. Other projects include the Preakness Stakes, Indiana Grand’s Indiana Derby Week and work for various HBPA affiliates and horsemen’s associations.
