Nomination meetings to run for the Kentucky HBPA board

Nominating meetings to run for the Kentucky HBPA board, or to nominate someone else, will take place at the following locations and times:

Ellis Park- August 3rd, 11 am Central- Backside Kitchen

Churchill Downs- August 12th, 11 am Eastern – Track Kitchen

Thoroughbred Training Center- August 14th, 11am Eastern- Outside KHBPA Office

Keeneland- August 14th, Noon Eastern-Kitchen

Trackside is closed therefore there won’t be a meeting at that location.

You must be a signed-card member of the Kentucky HBPA to run or be nominated by a signed-card member if you will not be present at a meeting.

Jennie Rees is a communications and advocacy specialist in the horse industry who spent 32 years covering horse racing for The (Louisville) Courier-Journal before taking a corporate buyout. In addition to handling communications for the Kentucky HBPA, Rees serves as a consultant to the National HBPA. Other projects include the Preakness Stakes, Indiana Grand’s Indiana Derby Week and work for various HBPA affiliates and horsemen’s associations.
